As a recognized leader in ecological restoration, ASR has successfully completed more than 100 projects across West Virginia, demonstrating extensive expertise in both stream and wetland restoration.

For more than two decades, ASR has partnered effectively with government agencies and private clients throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Our experience includes close collaboration with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP), West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR), Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), West Virginia Conservation Agency (WVCA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.

Drawing from a proven record of successful projects, ASR’s team brings a comprehensive understanding of the technical, regulatory, and ecological requirements necessary to achieve restoration goals. With access to resources exceeding $150 million in value, we ensure every project is delivered with precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to client objectives.

Recent projects required detailed coordination with the West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH), U.S. Forest Service (USFS), and WVDEP. These efforts included construction through mountainous terrain involving cuts up to 270 feet and embankments reaching 200 feet, underscoring ASR’s ability to manage complex engineering and environmental challenges.
