Principio Watershed - Horst Creek, Cecil County, Maryland

Over 100 miles of receiving drainage veins were constructed for this project.

The stream was fully restored to promote flood plain management, habitat enhancement, road construction and bank stabilization.

This emergency stream restoration project featured a design-build that included stream relocation and habitat development. Water and sewer lines were installed and riparian zones were created.

This pond removal and stream restoration design-build included the removal of 6,000 yards of sediment and the reconstruction of the original stream channel.

Project done in association with Canaan Valley Institute. Funded by the West Virginia In Lieu Fee program.
